The Family Membership is for valid member’s immediate family to participate in most of the offerings provided in UREC facilities. Immediate family is defined as a spouse and/or all those claimed as dependents. A UREC Membership ID card is required for each individual family member to access UREC facilities. 

HOURS OF USAGE:

UREC Family members under 18 may utilize UREC facilities during the following times:

Fall/Spring

Monday - Thursday | 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Friday - Sunday | All Day

Summer

Normal operating hours Monday-Sunday

UREC facilities will be available to family members under 18 during normal operating hours when Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Union County, Cabarrus County, Gaston County, Lincoln County, Iredell County or Rowan County schools (including home school and private school students in those areas) are closed for weather, teacher work days or holiday breaks. 

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS & PRICING:

Spouse/Dependents 18+:

Have access to all UREC facilities including Group Fitness Classes without direct supervision of a parent/guardian. May not participate in Intramural or Sport Clubs. Dependents 18+ may access UREC facilities during normal operating hours and are not subject to Family Weekend Hours.

$160 per year

Dependents 14-17: 

Have access to UREC pools, basketball courts, track, cardio areas, Group Fitness and the Northeast Rec Field Complex with direct and active supervision by parent/guardian and completed minor waiver on file. Must have visible Orange wristband. 

$160 per year

Dependents 6-13: 

Have access to UREC pools and basketball courts with direct and active supervision by parent/guardian and completed minor waiver on file. Must have visible Purple wristband. 

$90 per year

Dependents 5 & Under: 

Have access to UREC pools with direct and active supervision by parent/guardian and completed minor waiver on file. Must have visible Blue wristband.

$60 per year
