Eligibility: All ADD-ON Memberships are only available to faculty, staff, and alumni who have a current valid membership with University Recreation.
Restrictions: Alumni may only have ONE PLUS ONE membership. NO ADD-ON Memberships are available to minors attached to an alumni account
FULL MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
Eligibility: This must be a current UNC Charlotte student. Most current students are assessed a Student Fee for Recreation as part of their tuition.

Eligibility: This must be a current UNC Charlotte student that has not been assessed a Student Fee for Recreation as part of their tuition. It is rare that students are not automatically assessed the fee - examples include fully online students.

LIMITED ADD-ON MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
Eligibility: Faculty or staff may ADD-ON a membership to their account for a DEPENDENT that is 14-17 years of age. Remember, this means that the faculty or staff member wishing to ADD-ON must have a current full membership already.
Duration: Annual membership
Access: UREC pools, courts, track, cardio areas, group fitness, and NRFC fields are accessible.
Limitations: These members are not allowed on the weight room floors.
Supervision: Must always be directly and actively supervised by parent/ guardian.
Waiver: UREC must have completed minor waiver on file.

Visit Duration & Location: Each time the parking pass is used, it allows for a maximum of 3 hours only valid in the Union Deck Visitor parking area (upper levels). Any time over 3 hours will be charged by parking services to the pass holder.
Expiration: The UREC parking pass is valid for the duration of your current UREC membership term. Parking pass expires on the same day as current membership. Ex. If you have a summer membership, your parking pass will only last until your summer membership ends.
Events: This parking agreement will not be valid during certain large-scale events (football, Commencement, large SAC or PMSU events, etc.) when parking in the Union Deck is restricted for the event. Advance notice will be provided to UREC by PaTS, so that UREC alumni patrons can be notified of the restriction and their alternate parking options.
Refunds: No refunds are given for paid parking.
Requirements: Members has to have UREC and PaTS accounts in good standing, paid for parking through their membership, and is actively utilizing the UREC facilities during the time they are parked.

At times, facilities will be unavailable due to various events. Please check our facilities page for the most updated hours.
Participation in recreational activities at UNC Charlotte is voluntary and at the risk of the participant.
Membership and access to UREC facilities are revocable licenses and UREC reserves the right to revoke, suspend, or terminate any membership or facility access for conduct UREC determines to be improper or for failure to comply with UREC policies, rules, regulations, or other reasonable instructions or directions provided by UREC staff.
Forgotten Card: If a member forgets their UREC membership card, they are allowed one entry per semester with proof of identification via a Government issued ID.
Lost Card: If a member has lost their card, a replacement can be purchased for $10.
Damaged Card: If a card is damaged, a replacement card can be issued at no additional charge to the patron.
***Note: this only applies to UREC Membership Cards, not University IDs.
