General Information
Are you interested in furthering your health and wellbeing goals, learning a new skillset, and/or challenging yourself? UREC is now offering 6-week instructional SPECIAL OPTION courses designed to assist you in your fitness journey and exercise knowledge.
Our registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis to students and other members. Your spot will be reserved once payment is received. A waitlist will be created, if needed.
Refund Policy
In the event of an unforeseeable circumstance with the instructor, University conditions, or the facility, there is availability for sessions to be made up after the sixth week. If the registered participant is unable to make a session, that session(s) will not be made up.
Refunds will not be given unless there is a documented health issue or unforeseen circumstance that arises.
An intense workout program that welcomes and will challenge all fitness levels through outdoor, athlete-style workouts. Each session you may find yourself at a different location on campus whether in a parking deck or a quad on campus! *Open to all experience levels.
Location: Outdoors (meet at UREC Lobby)
Days/Time: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30am to 7:30am

New drill themes each week (HIIT and Hills, Tabata, Climb-Based, etc.) and a focus on the power number on your bike allow you to improve your overall fitness, get more confident on the bike and in the studio, and track your progress along the way in this late-night version of our cycling classes! And what’s a party without appropriate music and lighting? We’ll turn up the volume, turn off the lights, and get our disco ball going for the ultimate atmosphere- complete with your favorite party music.

Hip hop is a high-energy dance fitness class. Throughout the 6 weeks, participants will learn choreography, body rhythm and precision, as well as freestyle improvisation. There is no dance experience required. Come ready to shake, pop and lock to all of your music favorites!
Location: Belk Gym Group Fitness Studio
Dates/Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm
