Our Certified Personal Trainers are here to assist you in reaching your fitness goals! UREC's Personal Trainers will create an exercise plan that is unique to your needs and abilities. Our goal is to help motivate, lead, and inspire you to be able to have the confidence and self-efficacy to eventually exercise independently. We offer a variety of packages to accommodate your needs, as well as your budget!
The following are required to use the Personal Training service.
- Current UNC Charlotte Student
- Faculty/Staff/Alumni with a valid UREC membership

Waitlists may be enacted at various times in the semester due to high demand, we appreciate your patience during this time.
Steps To Sign Up
Step 1: Complete the Personal Training Interest form.
Step 2: Complete the Personal Training Registration Packet through DSE, sent to you once you complete the interest form.
Step 3: Client will be assigned to a Personal Trainer. Please note this step could take some time based on trainer availability.
Step 4: Client will be emailed instructions on how to pay for session via DSE.
Step 5: Client and Trainer will set up time to meet for initial assessment and consultation.
Package: $50
Requirement: All new clients must start with our Intro Package, which includes an initial consultation/Fitness Assessment and two sessions.

[Partner] Training: is available for two clients that sign up together. It is recommended that you and your partner share similar fitness goals and have similar fitness levels.

Workouts2Go!
→ Student/Member: $65
Description: Written Plans are designed for individuals who know how to exercise with proper form. If you need more guidance to jump start your workout plan, then we recommend you start with an Intro Package prior to purchasing a Written Plan. All plans include an initial virtual consultation and three written workouts.
Eligibility: Students who have access to UREC facilities, or those who have purchased a UREC membership.
Go beyond the scale with the InBody Test, a non-invasive, quick, and accurate body composition analysis that provides a detailed breakdown of your weight in terms of muscle, fat, and water. Each assessment should take no more than 30 minutes.
IN BODY SCAN PRICING
→ Student: $15
→ Member: $20
NOTE: All new clients must start with our Intro Package, which includes an initial consultation, InBody Composition Scan, Fitness Assessment, and two sessions.
Payment instructions will be sent to you once your Personal Training Packet has been completed and returned.
Refunds will not be given unless there is a documented health issue or unforeseen circumstance that arises.
You must cancel your session at least 24 hours in advance for it to not count against your purchased package.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the start of your scheduled session, with no previous communication to the trainer or UREC, the session will count toward your purchased package due to the use of the trainer's time.
